André Courrèges

If something can be said about designer André Courrèges, it is that he was always at the cutting edge. After all, he is credited with partially creating the miniskirt (alongside Mary Quant). However, he did other revolutionary collections.

His 1964 collection was “Space Age” inspired, and the “moon girl” look he presented on that runway became an instant classic. It included a white and silver palette, flat booties, and plenty of PVC accents, like this transparent helmet and body suit.
